Registration Number: CAC/IT/NO 93942
Kami Empowerment Foundation, formerly known as Kami-J, is a non-profit organization founded and run by Motunrayo Williams-Johnson. It was launched on 19th August, 2012 to commemorate her 30th birthday.
Initially, the foundation focused on supporting speech and hearing-impaired children, a cause close to her heart due to her personal experience with her son, Oluwakamikun Daniel Johnson, who overcame hearing and speech impairment issues after successful surgeries in 2010 and 2022.
Over time, the foundation’s scope has expanded to provide various services to humanity, including:
– Consultation services on domestic issues and relationship matters.
– Linking drug victims with Lagos State Rehabilitation Centers.
– Supporting various beneficiaries, including correctional centers, schools, orphanages, and hospitals.
