Nigerian lady sparked discussion when she shared a message she received from her boyfriend questioning her use of the hijab after she decided to date outside of her religion.
The revelation came in a video posted on her TikTok page. In the video, the lady first showed her face and then shared the WhatsApp message from her boyfriend, who belongs to another religion.
According to the WhatsApp message, the boyfriend expressed discomfort with the lady always covering her head.
He asked why she couldn’t wear wigs like other women, saying, “Can’t you wear wigs like other ladies? I know you’re Muslim and love covering your hair, but can’t you open it for once and wear a wig so you look sexier? That’s why I can’t introduce you to my friends, but you’re trying at least. I can manage for now.”
Her revelation attracted the attention of many social media users, who flooded the comments section to share their thoughts.
