Victor Osimehn has called out former Super Eagles winger and coach Finidi George for saying he wouldn’t beg Osimehn to play for the Super Eagles after the latter withdrew from the World Cup qualifiers against Benin Republic and South Africa.
Osimehn who was injured said he wouldn’t let anyone tannish his name but the question is did Osimehn handle the situation right, what coach Finidi did was wrong but Osimehn was also being disrespectful by calling him out which might have also put a stain on his career because how can you call out your coach? If he did something wrong you could have called him and told him how you felt about what he said. NO DRAMA.
it’s also no news that coach Finidi has left his position as Super Eagles head coach and the NFF is searching for a foreign-based coach which I think is the right way to go because currently there is no top coach in Nigeria, and also in recent years foreign coach has delivered some sort of success so I see no reason deviating for now.
