The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has addressed concerns over the Super Eagles‘ accommodation in Morocco, stating that the team is staying at the Rive Hotel in Rabat. The clarification comes after midfielder Alex Iwobi shared a video showcasing the hotel’s surroundings, sparking debate about the team’s welfare ahead of their World Cup playoff against Gabon.

The NFF explained that the Rive Hotel was chosen for its proximity to the team’s training facility and the stadium, emphasizing that the video only showed an old building visible from a window. The Super Eagles are focused on their upcoming match, having finished second in Group C behind South Africa .
